I am currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Applied Math from Harvard University in Debora Marks' lab at Harvard Medical School. I work on developing machine learning methods to predict protein fitness and function. I will graduate Fall 2023 .
I received my B. Sc. in Chemical Engineering from U.C. Berkeley in 2017.

During my undergraduate, I interned at Telegraph Green -- a sustainability non-profit. In this position, I negotiated with local
businesses to decrease their food packaging waste while encouraging customer engagement by suggesting discounts for people with reusable containers.

My experience at Telegraph Green helped me realize that sustainability was complicated by the lack of affordable alternatives.
I decided to go into research because I wanted to explore the type of research around sustainability and also investigate microbial processes to mitigate waste accumulation.
In graduate school, I also developed a passion for protein developability in both sustainability and therapeutics. I've worked with data from both fields since then and hope to continue this journey further.
Check out my resume to see how I've applied these passions to research over the past 6 years!
